Pet-Friendly Washington, D.C. Hotel
At Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown, we welcome four-legged members of the family to enjoy luxury stays along with their owners. Bring your dog to D.C. and enjoy a memorable Georgetown experience together. Our historic neighborhood offers plenty of dog-friendly amenities such as scenic walking trails, charming streets, and nearby Francis Dog Park.
What You and Your Pup Can Expect
Pets of all sizes are welcome to the hotel as long as they are leashed at all times in common areas. Pets must never be left unattended in your room. Any damage incurred to the room by the pet is the responsibility of the guest. Service dogs are always welcome and exempt from our Pet Policy.
Tail Wag Tuesdays
For the ultimate in dog-friendly dining, don’t miss our Tail Wag Tuesdays at the Courtyard Bar during the warm weather months! Every Tuesday, our four-legged guests can enjoy Puptails (pawgaritas, anyone?) and a V.I.P. (Very Important Puppy) menu featuring healthy and delicious dog treats and meals. Our Canine Ambassador, Georgie, gives the menu her Five-Wag rating.
Our Canine Ambassador, Georgie
For guests who are not able to travel with their pets, the hotel offers the services of Georgie, our Canine Ambassador. Georgie spends her days joyfully welcoming our guests with a wagging tail and friendly greeting. Come evening, Georgie heads home with her Dad, Mark Huntley, our Regional Vice President and General Manager.
Francis Dog Park
We are so fortunate to be located in Georgetown, a neighborhood that is welcoming to both people and pets! Francis Dog Park is just a short stroll from our front door and it’s a great place to take your active pup for some exercise and social time with the local dogs.
