Uncle Nearest Whiskey Dinner and Cigar Tasting Experience
Fairmont Washington D.C., Georgetown is pleased to announce its third annual whiskey pairing dinner with Uncle Nearest Whiskey* on Saturday, October 26 beginning at 6:00pm in the Courtyard Bar. Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey Master Blender Victoria Eady Butler will conduct whiskey pairings during dinner.
Executive Jaime Montes de Oca and culinary staff will create a four-course culinary feast prepared to complement delicious cocktails curated by the Fairmont’s mixologists and made with Uncle Nearest Premium Whiskey.
The reception begins at 6:00pm in the Courtyard Bar with the Uncle Nearest “Golden District” Cocktail and the four-course dinner begins at 6:30pm in Juniper.

At 8:30pm, guests are invited the out to the Courtyard’s cigar lounge to relax while enjoying a *JM Patriarch cigar.
The Uncle Nearest Whiskey Pairing Dinner includes the reception, four-course dinner, specialty cocktails, whiskey pairing by Victoria Eady Butler and a cigar. *Nearest Green, affectionately nicknamed Uncle Nearest by his friends and family in Lynchburg, Tennessee, is the world’s first known African American master distiller. The Courtyard Bar offer cocktails and bites on Monday through Friday from 2pm until 10pm and on Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am until 10:00pm.
This year’s Oktoberfest at Fairmont Washington, D.C., Georgetown takes place on Wednesday, October 23 and Wednesday, October 30 from 4:00pm to 7:00pm in the Loggia and Courtyard Bar.
